Hello my name is Ray and this page was created in support and dedication of the Newest Ladies Olympic Gold Medalist Sarah Hughes.

I have been a huge Sarah Hughes fan since watching her compete at Skate Canada back in 2000. I had always been a skating fan ever since a girlfriend got me into watching competitions and I became intrigued by the dedication, athleticism and professionalism of ALL the women that skated. Some of my favorites have been Nicole Bobek and Rosalyn Sumners. When I first  saw Sarah during a taping of the Skate Canada competition back in 2000 I was in complete awe of her gracefulness, charm and the way she had a smile on her face the whole time she was on the ice. She has been my favorite skater ever since. So you can all imagine how I felt back in February of this year. I had actually told everyone I knew to keep an eye on Sarah and all everyone said was that Michelle would get the gold hands down. Well, needless to say we all know who the champion is now (not to take anything away from Michelle).

This page is dedicated to Sarah for being such a dedicated and graceful athlete and for giving us all such a great moment in history this year when we all needed it. Hopefully I will get to some more skating shows later this year and post those pics also. Stay tuned. Meanwhile enjoy these high quality pics.

Striking Gold

Since I became a Sarah fan she has gone to the top of her class winning gold medals at Skate Canada in 2001 and of course the spectacular Gold medal in Salt Lake City in 2002
